Japanese hobby goods, honestly picked

Buying guides for US collectors: what's worth buying from Japan, where to buy it safely, and what it really costs once shipping, tariffs and fees are added. We're starting with Pokemon cards.

What's coming first

SugoiCards is new. Our first guides cover Japanese Pokemon cards: how they differ from English printings, which Japan-exclusive sets and promos are worth chasing, how to spot fakes, and how to buy from Japan without surprises at customs.

Trading card games, video games and figures follow. Questions you'd like answered? Tell us.
